This is square abstract painting with colors including blue, teal, vibrant green. It has a matte appearance accentuated by the saturated colors and layers of transparent paint. It uses small variations in both hue and shade to give the impression of light emerging from the painting itself. The paint application is expressive and tactile, sometimes appearing to melt into the canvas and other times coming forward in bold, thick strokes.
